LEfSe page

LEfSe Analysis is a linear discriminant analysis effect size to find significant markers between groups. It finds discriminatory features between two or more biological conditions or classes (organisms, clades, taxaonomic units, etc.) while explaining the effect size and biological consistency of these differences. The LDA score allows statistical analysis to determine the marker microorganisms in each group.

LEfSe analysis can provide results for three or fewer group analyses.

The P-value cut-off is 0.05, allowing analysis graphs of up to 30 bar plots and biomarker plots.

Information limitation

This guidebook is for general researchers who have not applied for the services of 3BIGS. Detailed explanations and contents in the analysis results report are limited, and a guidebook with detailed explanations for each page and full contents is provided to researchers who have been provided with the analysis results.
